Adults over 75 have higher risk of death in a home fires

A report was relaese by the National Fire Protection Association. Characteristics of Home Fire Victims and injuries finds that adult over the age of 75 are nearly three times as likely to die in a home fore as the general public. Adult 85 and over have more than three and a half times the risk of fire death as the general public according to the report.

Here are a few items to share with your elders:
- Plan and practice your escape from a fire.
- Plan your escape around your abilities - have a phone in your bedroom and post the local emergency numbers nearby.
- Smoke Alarms with a security Monitoring system

Just these three suggestions can save a life. We, at LOCKTITE Secuirty Services, feel that lives can be saved by just those three suggestions above.
